Amanda McCall is a writer, producer and author.
She has written and produced for TV (The Late Show With David Letterman, Bravo’s Watch What Happens, Adult Swim’s Soft Focus with Jena Friedman, The Puppy Bowl, Viceland, The Wendy Williams Show, and others) as well as digital series and podcasts for Vox, PBS, Funny or Die, MAKERS, Above Average, and The New York Times, and various live events.
Amanda is the author of several humor books, including Grandma’s Dead: Breaking Bad News With Baby Animals, the first in a three-part series from HarperCollins with co-author Ben Schwartz, and Britney’s Baby Book. She was also a contributing writer and editor for This Land Was Made for You and Me (But Mostly Me): Billionaires in the Wild by David Letterman and Feminist Fight Club: A Survival Manual for a Sexist Workplace by Jessica Bennett (she also produced the book’s trailer), and The New York Times Style section, among others.
